Community Yoga Hikes

Join Us on a Journey

Our community yoga hikes are great for individuals and small groups.

Most Roam and Om yoga hikes are approximately 2 miles round trip in length through beautiful natural settings where you can relax and have fun with your crew. The hikes vary somewhat in elevation gain and difficulty, so take a look below to find the perfect adventure for you and yours. Yoga is gentle and appropriate for all.

We offer a spectacular array of Yoga Hikes that are outlined below. Scroll all the down to see our upcoming schedule. We also add some specialty hikes throughout the season as well as carefully curated collaborations with local land owners. Wherever we land, we’ll provide the mats and you roll them out to indulge in a yoga class that's good for the soul.

Summit Mount Philo for a Light and Airy Practice

This moderate hike travels just under a mile through a forest of hickories, oaks, and white pines. We’ll engage our muscles and get our heart rates up as we gain 650 feet of elevation over this short and steep summit hike. Once you see the expansive views at the top, you’ll know it was all worth it. Lake Champlain Valley unfolds beneath us and further out you can glimpse the rolling beauty of New York’s Adirondack Mountains. We’ll roll out mats at the summit and breathe the fresh mountain air as we move through a gentle flow for 45 minutes to an hour, then return the way we came for a total, round-trip hike length of 1.8 miles.

Other details:

  • Restrooms are located at both the parking lot and the summit.

  • There is a daily entry fee of $5 per adult to Mount Philo State Park (not included in Roam and Om pricing).

  • We recommend carpooling, as the parking lot fills quickly, particularly on weekend days.

  • The trailhead is a 30-minute drive from downtown Burlington and 55 minutes from Montpelier.

  • Trailhead address: 5425 Humphreys’ Road, Charlotte, VT 05445.

Relax on the Shores of Lake Champlain at Niquette Bay State Park

This hike is considered moderate, with a total round-trip length of 1.8 miles. We follow a rolling, forested path (with some steps) through Niquette Bay State Park for .9 miles to the shores of Lake Champlain. We’ll roll out our mats on the soft, pale sand and listen to the lapping waves as we move through our mindful 45 minute practice. Carrying the peace we achieved during our flow, we’ll hike another 1 mile out, enjoying the tranquility and peace of this precious natural environment.
